Tanning your skin
Tanning booths are now a regular method to ensure people in "sun poor" countries can have that all over tan every day of the year. It is the dangers of overexposure to the sun that has lead to this prevalence of alternative methods at the same time that skin cancer is on the increase. Across America (and other countries) there has been in increase in artificial techniques with spray tanning high up on that list. Although there are many other methods, spraying seems to provide the most even and consistent tan available at the moment.
Just to provide an even more convenient service, manufacturers have introduced spray tanning equipment that can be used in the home. The methods of artificially creating this effect may differ but a guide to getting a good finish works with them all. Probably the most important aspect and the first one to carry out is getting rid of the dead skin on your body by exfoliating. If this isn't done, dead skin will gradually drop off leaving odd, light patches and spoil the effect.
Once that stage has been completed, the body needs to be moisturized all over. A common problem especially in the early days of self tanning creams, although it doesn't happen quite as much now, was to forget to wear gloves when applying the tan which meant that the palms turned orange and let everyone know the tan was a fake. To avoid any other application mistakes that could give away the fact that the tan is not real, make sure those fingers, feet, elbows and knees are only given the lightest of coats as they have a habit of coming out darker. Where a spray tanning system has been used it is quite normal, once it has been applied, to use some sort of towel to wipe any excess so streaking does not occur.
Once the tanning agent (whatever type you have used) has been applied you will need to have somewhere to relax and not move while the coating dries or small smear marks might occur. Agents of all types will leave stains on your clothing almost as soon as you put them on so consider what you intend to wear once you have finished. You should choose something dark and also maybe something you don't particularly care for until the excess is worn off. With a little care there is no reason why you cannot have a golden brown skin color throughout the year whilst keeping the method you use a secret, if you just take note of the information provided here.
