Menstrual cramp relief
As a woman reaches that difficult stage in her life she may be forgiven in believing that her body is out to get her. Some women do not have regular menstrual cycles but are probably still likely to have menstrual cramps. It may be that you have endometriosis, possibly even PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and that you will suffer more than most other women. Some women experience such severe pains they are not even able to leave their bed.
This is when you need some menstrual cramp relief you can count on time and time again. One of the most common types of comes in the form of a pill and many women swear by it. A tablet by the name of "Pamprin" is used by many women who say it works wonders for them, possibly because it was formulated for just that one reason. Perhaps, if you are someone that doesn't like to take medication it is time to think about this again and stop having this pain for days on end every time you have a cycle.
Why waste days of your life in pain when there is no need; think about all those things that you are stopped form doing. Often the cramps are just one aspect of the discomfort because they can also be accompanied by nausea and the feeling of eating a very large meal. After some time of enduring these pains I realized that I was only hurting myself and looked into other menstrual cramp relief remedies. Another problem is the irregularity because some months it feels as if I am being given a bear hug and others where there is no discomfort at all.
Recently I started using a heat pad which a friend suggested I try and has worked with some success at easing the discomfort although I do have to vary where I place it for effectiveness; sometimes on my stomach and other times on my back. If you have tried pain relief pills and don't always find they work then it may be worth you trying a heat pad to relieve your discomfort. However, if you endure more painful menstrual cramps you may need to try something stronger. This is especially true if you find that you sometimes have to miss work because they are so bad which doesn't help your attendance record if it's a regular occurrence.
To stop the situation worsening you should speak to your physician to see what menstrual cramp relief solution he can come up with. Don't worry if your doctor suggests trying the Pill because he knows just how many women have benefited from this as a remedy, or he might have a new treatment that you haven't considered. Obviously this would be a stupid option if you are trying for a baby but there will be other remedies you doctor can prescribe to help the cramp you feel each cycle. It may take some trial and error but you will find a remedy eventually.
